Why Life Groups?
When attempt to define what it means to be a follower of Jesus, it helps to think in three dimensions: UP – a deep love for God, IN – meaningful relationships with others, OUT – moving out to heal the world.
We were never created to “do life” alone. Therefore, we believe that it’s important for everyone to discover a place where they can connect and grow. Life Groups are a safe place to be known, encouraged, celebrated, and challenged as you walk with others learning to grow in each of these dimensions.
What if a Life Group?
A Life Group is a smaller gathering of people either in someone’s home or in a designated room at church for all or some of the following: food, connection, Bible Study, and prayer. Life groups pursue three dimensions: UP – pursuing Jesus together, IN – forming community, OUT – moving out to “heal the world” with others.
When and Where Do Life Groups Meet?
Some life groups meet in people’s homes. Many of our Life Groups meet at church in a designated room. Since building relationships takes time and consistency, we encourage our Life Groups to meet at least every other week.
What do Life Groups Study?
The pastors will strongly recommend a discussion centered on God’s Word aligned with the vision and direction the church is headed during that season.
