Why Life Groups?
We were never created to “do life” alone. That’s why it’s important to find a place where you can connect, grow, and be supported. Life Groups provide a safe environment to be known, encouraged, celebrated, and challenged as you journey with others and grow in your faith and relationships.
What is a Life Group?
A Life Group is a small gathering of 10–16 people who meet to foster community, connection, spiritual growth, accountability, and fun. It’s a comfortable space to talk about life and faith. As one author writes, Life Groups are a place to “grow in your love and knowledge of God in the context of community.”
When and Where Do Life Groups Meet?
Some Life Groups meet in members’ homes, while many gather at the church in a designated room. Because building relationships takes time and consistency, we encourage Life Groups to meet at least every other week.
What Do Life Groups Study?
As one pastor says, “...learning the way of Jesus through the Bible can be enhanced through the experiences and insights of others.” For this reason, our pastoral staff strongly recommends discussions centered on God’s Word. Many Life Groups also enjoy studying the sermon series our church is currently exploring. Need ideas for your group? Reach out below for suggestions and recommendations.
