Reading God Calls Samuell
1 Samuel 3:1-21(John 20:21-23)
Message Kids Say the Darnedest Things
God calls Samuel to be a prophet despite his young age and tender years. As we rightly know the voice of the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to be prophetic witnesses as well: Forgiving and passing judgments; binding and loosing.
Samuel 3:18-19
So Samuel told Eli everything, hiding nothing from him. Then Eli said, “He is the Lord; let him do what is good in his eyes.” The Lord was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground.
Samuel: "heard by God" - one who hears God
We'll celebrate baptisms:
Mateo Elroy Pacheco &
Tomas Elias Pacheco
Infant sons of Erin and Moe Pacheco
Psalm 139
13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
BRING
YOUR OWN BIBLE
As part of our Walk
Through the Bible series, we encourage everyone to bring their own
Bible to worship each week to follow along and make it your own. We’ll provide “Book Darts” to
help mark the passages we’re focusing on. If you don’t have a Bible, feel free
to take one from the credenzas at the back of the Worship
Center or from the Welcome Booth—it’s
our gift to you. Walk-through-the-Bible fall 2025 guide here.
