HEARTS ABLAZE SMALL GROUPS | SUNDAYS IN NOVEMBER
Join us for the Hearts Ablaze group discussions—you are invited to join a weekly discussion on the pastors' sermons, focused on deepening the spiritual practice of generosity. Groups meet from 11:15am-12:15pm after Sunday services and on Sunday evenings from 5:30pm-6:30pm. You can sign up for your preferred time—or walk-in any Sunday after the service.

SUNDAY MORNING LIVE (SML) | NOV 3- DEC 1 | 8:30 AM
We'll continue with Ray Vander Laan and his video series "Discipleship." Come at 8:30am for a light breakfast and spend the next hour in a deep dive into the word of God. This week, we will focus on how God reveals himself to those in the Bible and to us.

SHE: SINGLE MOTHER SUPPORT GROUP | SUN NOV 17 | 12:15-2:15 PM
Our speaker is the phenomenal Juni Felix, podcast and radio host of "Middays with Juni Felix." You may have heard Juni on Moody Radio - Middays. She is the author of You Are Worth the Work: Moving Forward from Trauma to Faith and will sign copies of her book. Bring a friend, sister, mom, daughter, or any other woman who could use a dose of encouragement! RSVP HERE for Nov 17.

ENCORE SUPPORT GROUP | NOV 19 | 7 PM
Join us for a workshop on legacy with ECRC member and Executive Coach Rachel Bouman. She’ll help us reflect on our impact in the workplace, finish strong if still employed, and thoughtfully plan our legacy in retirement. Rachel will inspire us with practical ideas for honoring God at all stages of life.

EXAM CARE FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS
Parents of College Students: Our church likes to send encouragement (and a little something special) to our college students at exam time. Please send your college student’s address by Nov 20 to Nina at [email protected] to have them included.

"PRIMETIME SERVES" AT JUBILEE | NOV 21 | 9:30-11 AM
It's a "PrimeTime Serves" project at Jubilee Furniture and Resale store, 240 E. Roosevelt Rd. in Lombard! We'll help sort clothing for resale as Jubilee expands its ministry to include a traditional clothing resale department. Proceeds from Jubilee support Outreach York, which serves children and families in the Lombard, Villa Park, and York Center communities. Proceeds also provide student scholarships at Timothy Christian Schools in Elmhurst. We would love to see you there; sign up HERE.

THANKSGIVING SERVICE | NOV 28 | 10 AM
We’ll come all together for a Thanksgiving Service, which will include expressions of gratitude, beautiful and thankful music, a children's message, canned food offering from kids (for Yorkfield Food Pantry), the Presidential Proclamation, and a message based on Psalm 100 “Shout to the Lord all the earth, worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs….”

JUBILEE RESALE TRUCK | MONDAYS | 8AM-1PM
The Jubilee Resale truck will collect clothing and furniture for the resale store every Monday in the south parking lot. The Jubilee store proceeds benefit York Outreach and Timothy Christian Schools. Drop off at this new, convenient location!

GEMS CAN CRAFT COLLECTION
GEMS Girls Club is collecting clean empty tin cans for a project in January. Drop off at the box in the lobby.

DECEMBER FAMILY ANNOUNCEMENT:
We’re preparing for our December Family Service on Sunday, December 1, where we’ll re-tell the story of Luke 2 with children’s participation!We are looking for: Readers (3rd-6th grade), Actors (1st-5th grade), Children’s Choir (K-8th grade). The service will feature five scenes, with readers and actors performing each one, followed by a song from the children’s choir.
Saturday, Nov. 30: Mandatory practice for actors and readers (1:00-1:45 pm). Choir practice is optional. Sunday, Dec. 1: Choir practice at 9:20 am; All participants meet at 9:30 am. Contact Kara Hackertif interested!

COOKIE DECORATION | DECEMBER 15 | 11:15 AM

OUTREACH YORK CHRISTMAS STORE 🎄
Volunteers: Outreach York needs volunteers to help with their Christmas store! It’s a fun way to help at Christmas -- opportunities to sort and price gifts prior to the Christmas store opening and include check-in, hospitality, gift wrap, shopper helper, and other opportunities.

Toy Donations: The Christmas store is any opportunity for families served Outreach York Center to purchase new donated gifts at discounted prices so that they can share an affordable Christmas celebreation with their children.
