Parchman Prison Mission Trip
Mississippi State Penitentiary | October 23–26, 2026
About Parchman Farm
Mississippi State Penitentiary, also known as Parchman Farm, is Mississippi’s oldest and largest state prison, with a history dating back to 1901. The prison houses men across various security levels and is home to ongoing prison ministry and rehabilitation efforts.
The Trip
Join us October 23–26 for a weekend of prison ministry at Parchman Farm in Mississippi. We’ll fly to Mississippi, stay in accommodations at the prison, and spend the weekend serving and ministering inside Parchman.
We’ll also spend time with Reggie Watts, our prison ministry mission partner, and hear firsthand about his work and ministry at Parchman.
What Will We Do?
Build relationships, have meaningful conversations, share our faith, pray with others, visit men in the hospital and hospice, worship with prisoners, spend time with Field Ministers, meet with our mission partner Reggie Watts, and participate in activities such as games, pizza night, and shared stories.
A Typical Day
While the exact schedule may vary, a typical day may include:
Morning: Breakfast at the prison restaurant → prayer and team preparation → hospital, hospice, or unit visits
Afternoon: Lunch at the prison restaurant → visits and conversations → worship or time with Field Ministers
Evening: Dinner at the prison restaurant → game night, pizza night, or shared story night → team prayer and reflection
Most meals will be eaten inside the prison at their restaurant, where meals are pre-ordered for the day.
