THRIVE

January 22 | 6:30 pm

Thrive is Elmhurst CRC’s new ministry for adults 55+, centered on faith, fellowship, learning, and community.

Blessed with deep roots of faith and experience, we seek to foster new growth by building community through fellowship, education, and social activities. Throughout the year, the Thrive leadership team hosts a variety of events that provide meaningful, engaging opportunities for connection.

Thrive kicks off 2026 with a cybersecurity presentation by FBI Agent Mark Fodrey.
Mark’s experience includes dealing with identity thieves, hackers, scammers, and other troublemakers—dangers we increasingly all face. The practical advice he shares will help us stay safe in today’s tech-driven world. Since these risks know no age limits, Thrive invites people of all ages to attend this kickoff event. Presentation begins at 7:30 pm.

If you are interested and your schedule allows, please consider joining us for a potluck dinner in the Garden Room. Simply sign up and bring your favorite hot dish, casserole, salad, or dessert. Potluck begins at 6:30 pm in the Garden Room.
