Often the hardest part of any journey is the first step. Certainly that’s true when it comes to walking into a new church! “What will it be like?” we ask, wondering if anyone will notice and say hello. Or worse: wondering if everyone will notice if they make us stand up!

At Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church we want everyone who walks through our doors—whether for a Sunday morning service, a Bible study, Little Lambs, a special event or a mid-week program—to feel welcome without being overwhelmed and to get connected without feeling pushed (so, no, we won’t make you stand up!). This is why we offer many ways to plug in to our church. We do believe that the more connected we are to the life of the church and its mission, the more opportunities we have for growth and getting to know God and one another.
