Who can attend Little Lambs?

All children are welcome at Little Lambs if he or she meets the following requirements:

  • The child is at least 3 years old (within a month of our start date)

  • The child is potty trained

  • The child has completed the registration and payment

  • The child's parent or caregiver assists the staff once each semester in either free play or crafts if it is possible. Onsite nursery is available during the morning sessions for volunteer's children ages newborn until 36 months.

What is the purpose of Little Lambs?

The purpose of the ministry is to provide an inviting preschool environment where Jesus Christ is the center of the program. We want the children, parents, and staff to experience the love and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Where and when does Little Lambs meet?

Little Lambs meets in the lower level of:

Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church.

There are five identical sessions each week:

  • Tuesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

  • Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

  • Wednesday afternoon from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

  • Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

  • Non-synchronous Virtual Session

The virtual learning option is available for the same cost ($130/year) for students at a higher risk of severe illness, for those families that want to limit their risk of exposure, or for those whose schedules do not allow them to be in-person. Weekly craft supplies and other take-home materials will be available for parents to pick up. In-person students will receive the link to these online lessons at no additional cost and can take advantage of them as a review or if their child is absent. This option does not have a Free Play component.
