$3500 (with double room accommodations). Price includes all maps, books, tips, instructors, lectures, field trip transportation, site entrance fees, lodging, and three meals a day.
Cost not include your flight to and from Israel. You will arrange that on your own.
$500 per person reserves your spot(s) on the trip. Your registration is confirmed when your payment is received.
Your second payment installment of $1250 is due by September 15, 2021. And the full payment balance of $1750 for the trip will be due by April 1, 2022. You may pay in full at any time.
If you should need to cancel, all but $50 will be refundable until April 20, 2022. After April 20, refunds will be made on a percentage basis depending on the date of cancellation.
Cancellations due to a global pandemic or other major world crisis will be in full minus the $50.
(Flight cancellations are not handled by Elmhurst CRC – that is between you and the airlines.)
Registration is open to individuals 18 years and older by June 19, 2022.
The COVID vaccine will likely be required by the country of Israel to enter the borders, although we don’t have an official word on that yet. We recommend you check with your physician about other recommended vaccines or shots before traveling. If you have concerns about health issues that could limit you, make sure you talk to your doctor before registering.

Our tour guide will be Oliver Hersey who will serve as the next president of Jerusalem University College in Jerusalem, Israel. He holds a Ph.D. in Old Testament Theology and an M.A. in Biblical Archaeology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity Seminary. He is extremely passionate about helping people see and understand the context of the Bible so they can grow in their relationship with God and His story. Dr. Hersey has more than 15 years of experience teaching Bible in a variety of settings including youth camps, college classrooms, and churches. Prior to accepting the appointment at JUC, Oliver served as a Pastor of Discipleship and Teaching at Calvary Church in Orland Park, IL. He also hosts the Transforming Discipleship podcast for Christianity Today. He celebrates 16 years of marriage with Andra this year and is the proud father of Henry and Penelope.
