Know a family that could use a little extra help with food for their kids this summer?
Free Meals for Kids are available weekdays throughout schools in the area in coopoeration with the YMCA.

If you want to help, there are multiple ways you can serve people in our community. 


  • STUFF THE BUS School Supply Drive for under-resoured kids in partnership with the York Community Resource Center. Pick up a few extra items and drop off at church. SUPPLY LIST HERE. 
  • The Elmhurst-Yorkfield Food Pantry seen a sharp increase in need due to COVID-19. Please consider showing love to our community by supporting EYFP with donations of money or non-perishable food and paper products. These can be dropped off 24-7 in a their "Drop Off Closet," located next to their garage door. EYFP is located one block south of Butterfield Road on the corner of York and Lexington (across from Ace Hardware).

If you are healthy and not "high-risk," please considering volunteering. And check back here for developing opportunities.

  • York Resource Center needs volunteers for:
    Greeter/Temperature Taker: Daily from 9-10 am.
    Volunteer once weekly or more for 5th-9th graders returning for daily programming.

  • Volunteer For YMCA EMERGENCY Food Distribution  weekdays. Various school locations are available. The.shift is weekdays from 3:30-6:15pm (4-6 is actual service time). Anyone 14 and over can volunteer – do it once or multiple times. To select a sign up time, and for safety precaution specifics Click Here.

You can quickly and easily give financially to support ECRC - the deacons and care team are receiving an increase in needs and requests in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
