A Support Group for Single Mothers

SHE

We offer hope, encouragement, educational opportunities, social activities, and spiritual guidance.

Sisters Helping Each Other meetings are held once a month on Sundays from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the Garden Room of the Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church (directions).  Childcare and meals provided.

Upcoming Activities:
March 11, 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Our speaker is Jack Folkerts, C.P.A./C.F.P., and the topic for the day is "Living on a Limited Income."  You will see a powerpoint presentation and receive handouts that should help you discern how you spend your money.
Free luncheon for mothers and their children and free child care. Inform us of your needs for Spring clothes. Resources for life distributed.

April 15, 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Our speaker is Sue Becker who is a clutter coach. The topic of the day is from "Piles to Smiles."
Free luncheon for mothers and their children. Come and be blessed by the beginnings of an organized apartment or home. You are always given the left over food.

May 6, 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Our speaker is humorous and motivational speaker Joan Murphy and the topic for the day is, "Free the Spirit Within?" Everyone will leave with a light hearted spirit and a smile on their face. Free luncheon for mothers and their children. You will also have the opportunity to choose spring clothes for yourself and your children at 2:30.
